Just been fooling around on the site, I've made some changes. The backround, obviously. The picture heading will need to be changed soon already (I can't believe she's almost 9 months! Didn't I JUST make that?) and I added a new ticker, for counting down the days until Katie gets to go on her cruise. <3
Other than that, I've made a new blog. It's just for TTC purposes and mostly for me (as this blog originally started as, just to keep track of cycles) so it may not be of much interest. However, it's on here for anyone who wants to follow along.
That's about it, at least until my pictures upload.

Different foods
Every time I think I'm getting a step or two ahead, something pushes me back!
The last few days Katie has been doing really well with food. She'd eat almost half a container of yogurt or 1/3 of applesauce and some Cheerios every day. She's also been taking a bottle of pumped milk well. Last night we found a food she loved, which are sweet potato puffs (originally I was going to skip these types of baby food all together and just do BLW, but she seems to need small steps and I figured these in between solids would get her used to textures.) however today I sat her down with the same applesauce she always eats and her puffs. She gobbled down the puffs (cut in half as they're quite big!) and gave her a few spoonfuls of applesauce. With each spoonful, she made this face, like it was super sweet. Not sure why, as we bought the natural applesauce with no sugar added - this stuff is BLAND! After about three or four spoons and making those faces, (she kept opening her mouth for more though), she ended up throwing up. So I'm sitting here, quite confused as she never had a problem with applesauce before and if it was the sweetness that did it, why wouldn't she have the same reaction to her vanilla yogurt, which is much sweeter? I tasted the applesauce and it's still bland tasting and nothing odd. Maybe for some reason it just didn't agree with her belly today?
I'm trying to find more foods to give her. She's not fond of purees or anything I liquify in the blender for her. I was going to do brocoli heads but she's already so gassy. I already know that she won't like baked potato textures.
As long as she's eating her yogurt, I'm happy. Since she was born she got yeast outbreaks every two months. She's currently three weeks late for her two month outbreak and I'm hoping it's staying away from us both eating our daily yogurt. I've heard of babies getting rid of the outbreaks permanently just by eating yogurt so maybe it'll work for her. Or maybe I just jinxed us, I don't know. Fingers crossed though.
I started making her baptism skirt last night. Due to how very expensive dresses are (and it's for one occasion she can't wear again), we bought her a baptism onesie and socks. So far making her a tutu skirt in pure white and lined with silk ribbon. If it doesn't come out right, I may line it with sewn tulle with rose petals inside to give some weight to it and make it prettier, or put some sheer white fabric over it to make an official skirt. Currently it looks like I'll need another spool of tulle as I'm running very low. I'm also making her a white bow with tulle underneath for her hair to match the outfit. And of course, I already have a baptism cake planned out.
Sounds like Katie is making sure to get rid of the applesauce from both ends so I'll have to finish this later.

Disney Baby
There was quite a few things I've been meaning to write down the last few days and haven't gotten to. They all are hiding from me now, as I can't think of what they were. However, I do have some very fun news!
Katie will be going on her very first cruise in September, and it'll be a Disney Cruise!! I'm so excited, I can't wait until she can go meet all of the Disney characters. She loves going out and loves to say hi to everyone, she'll be a blast on the cruise. I can only imagine that if she loves people, she'll really love big animated characters walking about! I'm going to be making her some princess dresses for the dinners, some micky mouse and disney character jumpers to wear during the day, and I'm going to either make or buy some Disney pjs. She's already such a Disney kid, but she'll really be all decked out for the cruise, complete with matching hair bows for everything. She'll be the cutest thing ever!
Speaking of Disney, I found a way to get Katie to sit for fifteen minutes at a time or so while I get cleaning done or cooking. Last week I discovered that Pandora radio carries all of the Disney songs from the movies and broadway versions. So I've been hooking my phone to the stereo and blasting out Disney songs - Katie loves it!
She's in a terrible mood the last few days though, as her first tooth is popping through (and it's very sharp! My nipples are in agony!). It looks like the two bottom ones are trying to poke through at once and she's not a fan of this at all. Either am I!
She also has learned a new word the last few days. We've been trying to teach her the sign for UP, because she's always asking to get up. Instead of learning the sign, she learned the word! So now she always starts yelling "Up, Up!" louder and louder until she gets picked up, while wiggling her fingers to try and throw the sign at us as well.

8 Months Old
Katie is eight months old today! The fact that it means she'll be a year old in just four short months is clouding my joy for it. I don't want her to be such a big kid yet, I'm not ready for it! She'll be leaving babyhood behind before you know it. Four months isn't much time!
I saw a lot of people on my board writing "In case I die" letters to their children for their important birthdays, wedding, birth of child, etc. Even though they insisted it wasn't, I found them very morbid and couldn't bring myself to participate, besides the fact that its a lot of letters to write for each and every kid for all pf their important occasions in case i die. However, as a teen I did love writing letters for the future. I still have many of them. Some were letters to me for when I became a parent, some were for my future husband, and some I no longer have but I remember writing. So I decided to write a letter to Katie. Not in the case of my death, but with the idea in mind that I'll still be there with her when she reads it. It was more just something sweet, not "what I want you to know in case I'm dead." I felt better writing it this way. I tucked it away in her Katie box that's filled with all of her hospital and infancy special things and tied up in ribbons in her closet.
There's not too much different happening. Katie is trying to say more words but she's mainly sticking with bababa, mamama and gahh gaaah gaaaah. She's despising naps even more and fighting them. She's slowly enforcing less naps. She usually takes three, but she's down to two and that's only if I spend an hour trying to get her down for both of them. It's making her cranky but she's persistant! She's enjoying playing with both of the doggies as well, she loves any attention from them. They can make her giggle more than anything else can!
Outside of Katie, there's even less new stuff happening. Still no AF here for me, despite continued bloating, crankiness and crampy. But I'm also becoming more efficient in house cleaning and getting to do my hobbies, so I'm alright with my new routine. I know the moment I get pregnant, it'll completely shatter so I'm rather enjoying this time. As for our resolutions, my new routine still does not include waking up at all early (re: before 10 AM) but Bill has lost 20 lbs in the last two months, so that's one good thing that we've kept with. We are also still eating daily salads, no sodas, and daily fruits. Bill drinks carrot juice every day to flush his liver of toxins, but I can't bring myself to do so - I'll make it, but it tastes nasty!
Katie's crying again (mainly because her very late nap was only 5 minutes long) so I have to go. A few pictures of her from today:

Baby Hugs
Baby hugs are the best thing EVER. I know that sounds like a "duh" moment but it's not. It's one thing to know that baby hugs are cute and adorable and another thig to feel your own baby wrap their soft little arms around your neck and hold you tight while they snuggle their head on your shoulder. It's awesome. It reminds me of the episode in Raising Hope where the father would do anything to get a hug from his child. Katie has been doing it for a while now, but she does it more frequently now and tighter and I love each one!
I'm teaching Katie how to sign. She understands most of them when I sign to her. She hasn't yet figured out how to make her fingers work so precisely. So now when she wants something, she shakes her hands and moves all of her fingers about trying to show me the right sign! She does it harder the more she wants something. It's so cute! She did the Blue sign once already, but that's the only one she's managed.
*Something * is going on with my body and it's driving me nuts. For the last week I've been cramping, bloated, nauseous and constant mood changes. I'm not pregnant and my period has not happened. I'm assuming it's my body gearing up for my cycles to begin again but I'm getting tired of this! Just start already and leave the cramps behind. And the rest of those symptoms, while you're at it.
Katie is terrified of the sewing machine. Not sure if I mentioned that yet? But it's gotten worse. It's not the moving parts or the light that bothers her. I'm not really sure what it is. The slightest, barely able to hear noise from it sets her off into screaming, red faced and shaking in fear. Yet she doesn't mind the blender or vacuum?? Ive been getting into sewing lately and Katie is really not helping!
She's almost 8 months old now, only another week to go. Which, to me, only means FOUR more months until she's 1! I'm not ready for that!

7mo and 1st Valentine's Day
7 months seems to be the magic age where Katie decides she's afraid of everything.
I was making an apron the other day. Spent about an hour on the sewing machine with Katie sitting in front of me. After that hour of smiles, Katie suddenly decided that she hated the sewing machine and was terrified by it. So I put it away after a few tries and nothing changing (I even put her down for a nap and tried again after but nope!)
Then yesterday I go to vacuum. Last week she was on the floor playing while I vacuumed and she giggled and smiled the whole time. Yesterday I had her in her crib in the next room and she screamed in fear. I tried it again later, same reaction. It's just like how she cries every time I leave the room. Separation anxiety + fear of loud noises really makes life hard right now!
She has learned something that she loves to do, which was accidental. Katie wouldn't let me eat and didn't want to play with any of her toys. So in desperation for a moment without a baby in my arms while I ate, I handed her an end piece of the bread to play with. This is how she learned how to feed Sophie and how she loves to do so. This will most likely cause problems when I try to teach her to eat finger food, but it did help me take a shower last night. She spent a good ten minutes trying to feed a sleeping Sophie her plastic purple elephant toy and giggling.
We celebrated Valentine's Day pretty fully this year. It was Katie's first so I dressed her up in all Valentine day clothing for a few days. On Saturday we went out to eat (first time in weeks as we're trying to stay on budget, so this was a huge treat!) and then we went to the store and bought things we always want but never splurge on like a tiny box of Poppers, two different kinds of ice cream and chips and dip. We went home and the three of us cuddled on the sofa and watched movies while enjoying our snacks.
On Sunday we went to church, then to a chocolate and wine tasting at my favorite winery (which is only about 10 minutes away). We bought my favorite wine there, which I really enjoyed having. We haven't had any wine in quite a while, and it's been much longer since we had that one.
Then yesterday Bill got me a chocolate rose, and Katie and I spent the day watching romantic comedy movies. When Bill got home we watched an episode of Once Upin a Time, one of my favorite current shows, while finishing the wine and snacks. Never got to make my valentine cake so I'll be doing that this weekend.
Katie was sitting and watching Blues Clues yesterday on tv. I was just walking away to grab something when Steve opens the door and says "hi you, I'm Steve!" and all the kids say "hi Steve." it sounded exactly like Katie said "hi!" with a garbled word after it. Not sure if I'm crazy or if Katie's first words are trying to be "hi, Steve". How hilarious would that be? Lol. She has said baba and mama already, but only by accidently while rambling with sounds. This was perfect timing and she hadn't been making noise before or after. It was just "hi, *garbleword*" and that was it.
Katie is now in size 5 diapers. Little munkin is getting so big. Hopefully she stays in these for a while as the bigger the size, the more expensive they are for less quanity!
She had her first taste of ice cream the other day. I'm trying to entice her into thinking eating is good and so far she's had no interest. So I had Bill go get her a tiny container of vanilla ice cream (he bought her Haagen Daas too, lucky girl!) and gave her some. Of course she'd love ice cream! After a day or two I noticed her cheek had a few bumps and was a bit red, wondering if shes not ready for the dairy yet. That would be the case, finally found something she's willing to open her mouth for!
There was a lot more I had intended to write but I'm unable to remember. So maybe more later?

Oh boy...
So, this is what separation anxiety means. How horrible! I can't get anything done because Katie never wants to be put down. And if she is down, if I'm not exactly right in front of her when she looks up every single time, she screams in terror.
I have no idea what happened today. She was super sleepy by 1, rubbing her eyes and yawning. So when Bill left, I went to go put her to sleep. This began an hour and a half scream fest at the top of her lungs. I nursed her, held her, sang to her, comforted her, walked her, played music for her, tried different positions, different rooms, etc. NOTHING WORKED. She screamed and screamed and choked and threw up and screamed. Sometimes a toy would get her attention and would immediately make her stop and giggle for a moment. It didn't look like she was in any pain as she could be distracted with silly things for a while. She just seemed overly tired and crazed. I felt bad for her and the screaming just wore away at my nerves until they were nearly raw. Worst nap time never. She finally fell asleep while walking and she's currently laying on top of me. She's sound asleep, unless I move.
Today isn't the best. I had just mopped the floor this morning and the dogs dragged in huge amounts of dirt all over it and the sofa. So I have to mop it again and wash the sofa cover on top of my very long list of chores today. Then I found out that there's no toliet paper in the house. Fine, I'll use tissues. Oh wait, no tissues either? No napkins? Of course. And I can't go to the store with a baby who won't stop screaming, plus I don't feel like walking through town holding onto a case of toilet paper. And the pasta I made has no sauce for it, the meat for what was supposed to be dinner is still an ice cube, and I'm exhausted but can't sleep with a baby on my chest. On top of everything, Katie seems to be a perfect angel for her daddy. Last night he was eating yogurt. He gave some to Katie. Katie liked it, licked her lips, and opened her mouth like a baby bird for more. She laid in her crib perfectly for him. As soon as he walked in the door she was a delight instead of the screaming angry child she was just minutes before. Being a mommy definitely is lacking any glory! I wipe her butt, deal with sore nipples and leaking through clothing to feed her, get drenched when I give her baths, try to find different foods and ways to feed her so she'll eat, look like an idiot while I clean so she'll be happy in her exersaucer for more than two minutes, drag her laundry up and down two flights of stairs each way and make sure to wash it with her special soap so she has the few pieces of clothing washed that she hasn't outgrown already, and all I hear all day is her screaming at me. Bill, who sees her only for two hours in the morning sometimes and an hour at night, gets nothing but squeals of happiness and loving smiles. *sigh* she'll like me eventually, right?

7 Months!
Katie is 7 months old today! Seems even scarier than last month when she was officially half a year old. Now she's working her way to one year, it's going to go by so quickly! I keep making sure every day I stop at really see her instead of just taking care of her and dealing with her crabbiness. being with her always, with her always on my hip, sometimes makes it easy to just glaze over her or think of her more as a loud, difficult hip ornament. Then I stop everything and notice all of the new things she has been doing, what makes her happy, what makes her giggle the most. She's changing so much all the time, I wish I could hold onto her a little tighter and capture all of her moments in my memory.
After 7 months of no incidents, I finally experienced a case of the dreaded mother's hair wrapped around small bits. Luckily, every single time I change her diaper, from the day she was born, I check her toes for any hair wrapped about. I do it even more often for fingers. Even though it never happened, I still checked many times a day. It's good I always kept with it, because yesterday I found a few pieces of hair wrapped tightly around three toes. Thankfully it was only there for at the very most about two hours, as I had checked at the previous diaper change. It left little red divets for a bit, but they weren't discolored or anything. This type of thing totally freaks me out! There are SO many things that have to be looked after and taken care of every single day. Even with spending all my time with Katie, it's still hard to juggle everything and remember everything that needs to be taken care of. Babies are so much work, and so much more than just feeding and diaper changes!
Katie ate bananas for the first time yesterday (or the day before?). She loved munching on a chunk of one through the baby feeder (some moms in my baby group let their babies just have the actual chunk of banana in their mouths already but I'd be way too stressed to do that! Katie chokes on air and spit all the time!) she ate a little of the smushed banana and breastmilk mush I made her, but mostly just liked squishing it in her hands and decorating her Cheerios with the spat out bits. No rashes or bad reactions though, so that's good! I'll upload pictures of it later.
The other night it was 50 degrees out so we all went for a walk. Katie loves walks, whether in strollers or a baby wrap (though she's usually in a wrap). It was also Bandit's first stroll around town and she loved it. The two dogs kept getting wound up in each other despite their leashes only being about three feet long! Bill walked Sophie and me and Katie walked little bandit. It'll be a lot of fun when spring finally gets here!
Lastly, I won a pair of socks! I know, it sounds silly but it's been about three months since I won anything, and these are for me! Sometimes I'll look at a giveaway contest picture of a prize and think, "hey, that's mine!" usually when that's my first thought, I end up winning it and it really becomes mine. So, that's what happened with these socks, and though it's only a pair of valentine heart socks, it was still neat to first see them and know I'd win it. Hoping it happens more often - nothing like getting packages in the mail!

Oncologist Appointment - Year 4
I went to the oncologist today. It's an appointment that I dread for so long and then feel soooo relieved afterwards from. I was nervous last night so Bill offered to count up his extra quarters from a savings jar he's had for years and drove out just to buy me some Snickers ice cream and a Snickers bar, then watched the baby while I made white a milk chocolate chip cookies to put in the ice cream. It was delicious, and we didn't touch our extra grocery money for junk food.
Anyway, the oncologist said everything looks perfect, no signs of worry, I don't need a CT scan, and cleared me to have more babies. At first he was concerned that I didn't have my period back since having a baby 7 months ago. Apparently, exclusively breastfeeding for that long is rare enough that he didn't even think it could be from that. He was pleasantly surprised to hear it (because that meant not having periods was normal, instead of an instant big red flag).
Bill and I finally decided to start NTNP until our ttc date. It probably won't mean much without my cycles back yet, but who knows, it may encourage my body to start getting in gear. It would help if my body would start putting weight on though! Fully clothed I now weigh 114. I understand that my body's natural comfort level is below the BMI range, but it isn't that low. So...more ice cream? Lol. I'm going to try putting some muscle on. Thankfully, my belly skin is tight again and my belly is officially back to how it was prebaby. Even those few stretch marks I had are so light they're barely see-able! Iota definitely time to build those abs. I can already feel muscle building under my skin, just not enough to really pop and show!
In Katie news, she's now sitting up really well. I may have said that already, but she's able to sit up for longer and longer periods now. Finally she's getting some balance! Her main downfall has always been trying to look up at the lights. She loves looking at lights.

Pets!
Katie has a new pet!
We adopted little Bandit from my mom last weekend. She's going to be Katie's little play dog, and Sophie's buddy. At first, I thought having another dog would be too much. We were thinking of getting another Berner last December as Bill's dog so Sophie would have a buddy. Once I get pregnant again, I won't have enough time to really devote to Sophie and since she's such a social dog, she gets lonely easily. However, I decided there was no way I had the patience to get a new puppy. The potty training alone was an unbearable thought - Katie just started sleeping through the night, there was no way that I was going to get up every two hours to let a puppy out all night long! Plus, we use the nursery now. I can't have a potty training dog in the house right now! So, obviously, we decided against getting that puppy.
So when thinking of taking on Bandit, those same thoughts obviously ran through my mind. And then Bill and I talked about it and realized it really wouldn't be that bad. She's already potty trained and doing very well with that. She's older, so she's not going nuts in the house and ruining anything. She doesn't chew or scratch up things. She wouldn't cost much of anything, she's been eating Sophie's food (and since she's so small, she doesn't eat much to really make an impact!) and she's conveniently registered at the same vet and is on the same time line as Sophie (as they're only two weeks apart in age.) She's much easier than taking on a new dog, and now Katie and Sophie both have an extra buddy.
We took the two dogs yesterday to the Doggy Social. I thought Bandit would do terribly, as she didn't want to walk in and she's very skittish as it was her first time. But once she was inside the doggy gates, she did great. Instead of sticking with us as I figured she would, she ran around with all the other dogs the whole time, just like Sophie did. She seemed to really enjoy it, and then didn't want to leave afterwards! Sophie's trainer said that Bandit did really well, and even offered to help train her when she trains Sophie! Some free extra training definitely sounds good! Sophie learned everything so fast that she really didn't need the full course, and we've been spending classes just doing silly, fancy things with her. Peggy (the trainer) felt bad that we have extra classes that Sophie has already mastered, so she's willing to give Sophie her tune up and teach her some neat things while also working with Bandit on her basics. I really like our trainer!
I realized also that Sophie does like me. Lol. Every time Bill leaves for work, Sophie whines for about 30 seconds and sulks, and then is the happiest dog ever when he comes home. She lives for when he walks through the door! Meanwhile, she lives day in and out with me, and I take care of all of her needs. I always said that even though she's my dog, she seems like Bill's. But when Katie told me she wanted to nurse RIGHT NOW at the social (instead of the million times I tried to get her to nurse before the social), I saw that Sophie freaked out at me leaving. She tried to jump the four foot walls to get to me, she managed to burst the opening open to escape once, and she wouldn't stop running the length of the walls until I came back. When I did come back, she wouldn't leave my side and she was so happy, she stopped playing with the other dogs and ran over to greet me. So yay that my dog likes to see me too!
Earlier in the day, Katie decided to skip both of her naps. So instead of enjoying the whole social hour like she usually does, I had to take her out and walk her around the store as she got tired and a bunch of dogs jumping and running around became overwhelming to her.
I took pictures of her discovering other animals. Some she didn't care for, and others she was really attached to and didn't want to leave!
Katie ADORED this guinea pig. She refused to let me walk away from it, she'd cry if I tried to. I think she wanted to take it home!
Isn't she growing out of her baby face so quickly?

Checking out the birds. She was pretty interested in these as well:
She didn't seem to care for the ferrets though:
Wasn't into the reptiles:
She did like to see Turtles though!
She also pointed out a few large goldfish she liked.
She's quite fond of her fish that we have at home!
Here's some doggy pictures:
(Check out Bandit's doggy sweater that I made her!)
Here's Katie right before we went out on a walk in the surprisingly warm weather!
We celebrated getting our new rubber roof by walking up the street for some cheese steaks.
We happened upon an awesome building that I really, really want to have some day ;)
Isn't she growing out of her baby face so quickly?
She looks so much older than the other babies her age!

Learning new things
A few developments from today:
Katie learned how to wave hi! Like we always do, I had her looking in the mirror at "the baby" and told her to save hi while showing her how to do it. She smiled at the baby, then focused on my hand and lifted hers up and started to do it back to me! Wondering if it was just a fluke, I distracted her and came back to it an minute or two later. I asked her again to wave hi to the baby in the mirror while I did it and again, she did it back to me. About ten minutes later she was in the bath tub splashing away. I got he attention and said "Katie, wave hi!" while I waved at her and she did it again. It's always neat to see her finally understand something I say and be able to comprehend well enough to do it back.
Katie is now interested in learning how to use her sippy cup. She still doesn't want to actually drink the milk bc it's always an imperfect temperature for her, but she does want to use it. Today she tried to drink from it while holding both handles and munching at the side of it. She couldn't quite find the nipple! When I helped her, she tried sucking away at it but when she tasted it, she quickly stopped trying to drink it!
Katie has started to do a dangerous thing now though. I noticed she slides her bum off of the green divider in the bathtub when she arches, which makes her whole body go more horizontal. I had to set her back up as she was quickly sliding to where her face would go under, even in pretty shallow water. I've always hated that she learned how to arch, but I really hate it now. Thank goodness bath time is only about five minutes long and I'm always with her at every moment.
Another thing she learned how to do about bathtime: biggest splashes ever! I now get pretty soaked, as does the whole bathtub stall and the outside. She just goes crazy with the water!
Seems like she's been learning many new things this month. Every day comes with new surprises from her, it's been quite a fun adventure wanting her learn!

Today's New Things
Well, after six months I finally did it. I've heard so many stories about it and never understood how it happened but now I do. I finally squirted Myself in the face with breastmilk, very nearly missing my eye (Katie, on an almost daily basis, isn't always so lucky. Perhaps it's her karmic payback for always trying to stab Sophie's eyes! Lol) anyway, that was a shock. I was pumping as Katie ran up my supply over the weekend and then decided today that she wasn't very hungry today. This left me with a noticeable goose egg popping out on the top of my one breast, and the other one feeling like a brick. Fearing mastisis setting in, I grabbed her sippy cup while she slept and started to pump with my hands (no manual pump needed here!)While doing this I was watching netflix on my phone and somehow things got out of hand and before I knew it, my freshly washed hair was quickly squirted all over.
Now that the tmi portion of this post is over, I'm trying to remember the real reason why I was goin to post today (before the squirting incident).
My mil accidental bought Katie some giant socks. They're 2T - 4T according to the label.
They fit PERFECTLY. Finally, socks that STAY ON HER FEET! The 18m ones that she bought for Christmas were an improvement, but they still fell off easily. I know she's a tall baby (with me being almost 5'8 and Bill over 6', this is to be expected) but wow! She's definitely gonna be a tall girl. Bill says she looks very tall when I carry her bc she's half my height almost. She's a good grower, that's for sure.
Our resolutions are still going well. All but waking up early, which, in my defense, I was against from the beginning. Our grocery bills are paid in all cash from the weekly allotment so we're keeping perfectly in budget there, we're eating salads every day, and Bill is losing weight (8 lbs in two weeks so far.) I've gained, maybe, a pound do far which to me defies logic. I eat like five big meals a day. I have desserts. And yet I'm not going up. This may be because of the heavier milk supply that Katie created, as mentioned above.
The milk supply spiking seems to be more from Katie refusing to sleep than from a growth spurt (or maybe it's all wrapped up in a growth spurt?) she still hates the sight of the bed, screams when she knows it's nap time and just rebels at the idea of sleeping. It was like the day she turned six months she decided she wouldn't sleep anymore, ever again. If it was her secret resolution, she's keeping hers better than most. Her not wanting to sleep leads to her calming down by nursing and calming down to sedation takes a while.
Things I've learned today:
After a week of no sleep, Katie will crash from five hours. Out cold, unless I try to leave the room. Instead of catching up on dishes, I was forced into a 5 hour marathon of White Collar today.
Katie thinks that carrots and breastmilk combined is the worst taste ever. She will then proceed to spit and drool until every last taste bud has been cleansed of the goop.
She now will drink from her sippy cup. As long as its breastmilk and at the exact temperature As when in was in the breast. If its not, it's then only used for mouth wash to help aid in ridding of carrot mush.
Katie likes to play with only those things she thinks she's not allowed to have.
She knows what keeps her constrained now. She's going after those buckles with vengeance. Thank goodness for poor hand eye precision.
Katie loves to throw things off of the high chair, listen to the bang it makes on the floor, then stares and waits for it to magically reappear.
Breaded chicken leftovers taste great in salads.
Thanks all I got. Apparently the original reasons for writing a blog today have been lost forever.
